Create your own piece of Pop Art using the steps below:
Load Adobe Photoshop
1. Open
the image you will be working with. FILE
- OPEN - (Select image)
2. Re-save
the image within your ‘N’ drive. ie.
Popart_angelenia.PSD
3. Turn
image purely black and white:
IMAGE - ADJUST - THRESHOLD
You can adjust the threshold by clicking and dragging small arrow across the
scale. Apply the change my clicking
‘OK’.
4. Select
a drawing/painting tool you would like to use, change the size of the ‘brush’
accordingly.
5. Click
COLOUR - SWATCHES to bring up swatch, select the tool you would like to and
change the mode to ‘MULTIPLY’
6. Repeat/change
colours etc until you have your final result.
NOTE: Using the ‘History Pallet’ you can always
reverse your steps if you make a mistake as well as ‘undo’. WINDOW - HISTORY
7. Save
your work and ensure it is within the ‘N’ drive.
