Pop Art Activity: Popular Collage

Collect all of the brochures from your mailbox and cut out all of the things you would really like to have in your bedroom if you had lots and lots of money. Cut these out carefully around the edges and then create your fantasy bedroom from the images. You need to leave at least one wall out so that we can see into your room. Remember, your room can be as large as you like.

Equipment:
Magazines
Glue Stick
Coloured Card
Scissors

Here are some ideas to get you thinking:

·        Instead of a bed you might like to sleep in a hot hair balloon!
·        Perhaps you do not have a ceiling in your bedroom so that you can see the stars at night.
·        Maybe there are animals in your room with you – perhaps you have bought the zoo!
·        Perhaps you have a McDonald’s in your room so that you can have fast food whenever you like.
·        Instead of a TV you might have a huge cinema screen.
·        To go to school you could install a huge slippery dip that you can slide all the way down instead of walking.
·        Do you like climbing? Maybe there is a rock climbing wall on one side of your room.
·        Perhaps you have a little mini car to drive around in as well.
